Sunday: The Summation of my Week and the Beginning of a New One
It has been a hell of a week for me due to MIDTERMS. it's been tough and yet I'm still alive now and surviving. I also received a very good news this week, The results of my IELTS test arrived and lo and behold, I got the necessary average I need to pursue the application! I think this was God's way of saying that I'm heading into the right direction and decision and I need to continue to pursue my plans. This was also a very good sign for me and my mother, Hopes have been high for us and with this happy momentum, we can have a great 2013 ahead of us. In a much sadder note, Guys have been the same for me, they pass, do the magic note, and be gone like forever. I have inculcated in my mind that Ill find the right person for me, I just need to wait for the perfect time and perfect guy to sweep me into his arms and make my life a living fairytale but sometimes, I get impatient of waiting so I find ways of searching that just leads me into disappointment. The right quote to be said is " less expectations, less disappointments". Hoping another fun filled week is ahead of me.
Quotes of the Week:
Whenever you feel like giving up, remember why you set this goal in the first place. Follow it.
Stop looking for a 'good' person. Be one instead, and they'll come to you.

Callum David Invades SINULOG 2013!
All I can say is " WOW". Seeing him for the first time made my heart jump and melt. I felt like my heartbeat went from normal to hyperventilation in just seconds. It felt like I was in a fairytale and he was the knight in shining armor and I'm the princess in distress ( such strong words to describe myself but hey, everyone can dream right? LOL!) I also just realized that he has a great following here in the Queen City. I braved my way from the party street scenes of Cebu to SM City just to see him and it was very worth it. he even waved at me when I screamed his name ( or maybe I was wrong, he just waved for the crowd I was in but in anyway, it was still super cool!) people were really in a party mode when he started and ended his set with a bang. I wish he visits Cebu again and I hope it will be SOONER! Here are some of his pictures when he came here last January 20, 2013. Photo Courtesy of SM City Cebu Official Facebook page. Saturday Buzz
It's saturday and while most of my readers and all people I know go out and have fun with their family or friends, yours truly remarkably stays at home and spends his time watching bad tv and reading books. as some of you may know, I am a voracious reader. I read a lot as in a lot. I can be in a room without anything just leave a table, a chair and 7 to 10 good books and I'm all set. I am currently finishing the Fifty Shades series which have awaken my senses in reading since day one. if you want E-book copies of the complete set then email me. I will send them to you free of charge! and I had the most wonderful news, David Callum is coming to my city next week! so excited that I'm gonna die in anticipation. hahahaha overkill!
Have a happy Saturday everyone!

David Callum
I saw him in a TV ad last September and I got so hooked about this Australian Hottie. with his boyish smile and manly appeal, most girls and PLUs alike wants to have a friend or "boy-friend" exactly or just like him. he has a very unique charm that can almost make our hearts melt and makes us smile the whole day. Imagine a guy like him waiting for you after work or after school bringing flowers or chocolates for you. Just his smile and charm can make your day from ordinary into extraordinary. Am I right?here are pictures of this Australian charmer.
Hope he inspires me for my upcoming IELTS. wink!
IELTS
This week, I will be undertaking a very important series of test which can help me determine if my plans for this 2013 will be a go or no go. IELTS or International English Language Systems is an international standardised test of English language proficiency. It is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations the British Council and IDP Education Pty Ltd, and was established in 1989.
There are two versions of the IELTS: the Academic Version and the General Training Version:
- The Academic Version is intended for those who want to enroll in universities and other institutions of higher education and for professionals such as medical doctors and nurses who want to study or practise in an English-speaking country.
- The General Training Version is intended for those planning to undertake non-academic training or to gain work experience, or for immigration purposes.
IELTS is accepted by most Australian, British, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand and South African academic institutions, over 3,000 academic institutions in the United States, and various professional organisations. It is also a requirement for immigration to Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
No minimum score is required to pass the test. An IELTS result or Test Report Form is issued to all candidates with a score from 1 (no knowledge) to 9 (expert user) and each institution sets a different threshold. Institutions are advised not to consider valid a report older than two years, unless the user proves that he has worked to maintain his level.
In 2007, IELTS tested over a million candidates in a single 12-month period for the first time ever, making it the world's most popular English language test for higher education and immigration.
In 2009, 1.4 million candidates took the IELTS test in over 130 countries, in 2011 — 1.7 million candidates.

I'm hoping that I have a very good mark on this exam. =)

2013
This 2013, Im trying to activate my two blogs namely:
Tumblr - Confessions of a Teenage Queer
Blogger - Life of a Teenage Queer
so I hope I can reactivate them and post as often as I can. so follow me peeps!
Happy Three Kings
Its the first Sunday of January in the year 2013 and they say its the celebration of the Three Kings arrival to Bethlehem after seeing the Virgin Mary welcome his beloved son Jesus Christ to the face of the earth. the Three Kings are namely:
Gaspar
Melchor
Baltazar
so I’m going to say three things I would like to achieve and three things I would like to leave on this 2013.
Three things I would like to achieve:
1. A fitter and Healthier Me
this was started on the summer of 2012 and was going on pretty well but after the sudden death of my father, this goal was put on the sidelines as I was mourning and my life was then full of sadness, darkness and uncertainty. It took a toll on what I have already achieved and now I’m back into the shambles. As of now, I’m trying to get back into shape and promote healthy lifestyle to myself but also to my family and friends.
2. Change my life
21 years have passed and I thought I had a goal and endpoint in my life. all of what I need to do was lain down before me on the Wooden Spoon. I thought everything was fine and beautiful but it all changed when someone from your life leaves you without warning. after that event, it made me realize that I have been living the life that I’m not totally comfortable with it. So this 2013, I want to change my life and live life the way I want it to be and be happy and positive about it.
3. Take Risks, Get out of the comfort zone
This will be a new endeavor for me, before I was so afraid of taking risks because I am afraid that I’ll just end up as napahiya or being scorn and laugh at because I have failed. Everyday I face so many persecutions and insecurities in life and about myself but I just let it pass in my ears but it hurts me more. My dad was so not into taking risks because he simply wants to be sure of what will be the outcome and for the good of the family and himself but as time passes, I think we need to take risks in life and be ready for what will be the endpoint of it.
Three things I would like to leave before the end of 2013
1. Being complacent
I want to be a new me and complacency will not help me with my goal. so this year, Im going to leave that behind
2. Stress
All of us has stresses in life but for me, I deal it bigtime leading me to sadness and problems that weren’t there before. Stress will be bye bye for 2013.
3. Mistrust
I have a problem trusting people, due to the fact that I have faced so many dissapointments in life that I have grew tired of trusting and just want to be sure of things, but I realized that we need to trust others in order for us to move forward.
These will be the things I will prioritize this 2013 and I hope with God’s grace and with the help of my family and friends, I can achieve these goals and leave me with a happy smile on my face.
